The University Estates and Campus Services Department will have several construction and projects to advance over the next five years which will require the selective input of external consultants, including M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Design Services. The scope, standards, and expectations for the provision of M&E design works and associated services are to support the delivery of capital, refurbishment, and maintenance projects within Estates for the University of Dundee. The appointed M&E design consultant shall provide comprehensive design and specification information suitable for issue as part of tender documents, and support the project throughout the RIBA work stages 0 – 7 (project initiation – to completion) while ensuring construction projects deliver value for money, comply with statutory and procurement requirements, and support the University’s strategic estates objectives.

Supply of Affinity Resins to MRC-PPU, University of Dundee

The University is seeking the provision, implementation, transition and ongoing support of a SaaS Enterprise Backup and Recovery solution. The scope of this procurement includes: - Provision of the backup and recovery platform. - Associated cloud storage services. - Software licensing for protected workloads. - Professional services required to support implementation, configuration and service transition. - Testing, validation and knowledge transfer activities. - Training and supporting documentation. - Ongoing software maintenance, platform updates and vendor support. The SaaS solution shall integrate with the University's existing infrastructure and support the protection of workloads hosted across VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox and physical server environments.

The scope, standards, and expectations for the provision of Architectural and associated services are to support the delivery of capital, refurbishment, and maintenance projects within Estates for the University of Dundee. The appointed Architect shall provide comprehensive professional architectural, design, and contract administration services to ensure projects deliver value for money, comply with statutory and procurement requirements, and support the University’s strategic estates objectives.

HTE is a field of chemistry that expanded exponentially in the past five years, and most pharmaceutical companies are currently using it in their workflows. This methodology allows multi-parameter optimisation of chemical reactions but also synthesis of multiple compounds (96 to 384) on a small-scale using plate chemistry. Combined with the implementation of Direct-to-Biology (D2B) approaches, which involves the direct testing of non-purified mixtures, biological data is obtained faster. The combination of these methods greatly improves the Design, Make, Test, and Analyse (DMTA) cycle.

The University require a new Contract for the Supply and maintenance of fully funded EV Charger Infrastructure. The current charge points require upgrading, due to their age and they are out of manufactures warranty. This new Contract opportunity will be for - Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment and Associated Items.

Roofing Maintenance and repairs as required, the successful Contractor shall provide a suitably skilled, experienced and competent workforce to safely deliver reactive roofing maintenance and repair works across the University of Dundee Estates & Campus Services portfolio. Works may include, but are not limited to: slate, tile and shingle roofing; felt/bitumen and single-ply membrane systems; lead, copper and zinc work; rainwater goods in various materials; associated cement and stonework repairs/pointing; cladding interfaces; and related minor external building fabric repairs required to make areas safe and weatherproof.

The University wishes to appoint an independent, professionally qualified actuarial adviser to support it as sponsoring employer through the forthcoming valuation process.
