This procurement is required to ensure continued statutory compliance, maintain safe operational use of gangways and associated accessories, and provide a consistent and auditable approach to inspection and certification across the network. Failure to maintain suitable examination and certification arrangements may result in equipment being removed from service, operational disruption, increased safety risk, and potential non-compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) is required to establish a Framework Agreement, in line with Transport Scotland requirements, for the provision of a replacement bus service. This service will be deployed in circumstances where there is a complete interruption to ferry operations, specifically when no vessels are operating on the Gourock and Dunoon routes. The Framework will ensure continuity of passenger movement during such disruptions and provide CFL with a compliant, pre‑arranged mechanism for rapid mobilisation. The preferred bus capacity should hold approximately 70 passengers, but is not limited to this number.

CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) operates a fleet which currently consists of 36 ferries on the West Coast of Scotland and there will be an increase in our fleet within the next few years. To enable our ferries to provide an everyday life-line service they must be maintained to meet legislative requirements verified by stringent external bodies and codes of practice. CFL wish to implement a comprehensive Coatings Management plan across our fleet in line with the core principles of the IMO Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC) Resolution.

​​CalMac Ferries Ltd requires a partner who can provide end-to-end video, photography, and graphic design services to support business-as-usual (BAU) marketing and communications activity. ​Content will be deployed across a range of marketing channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, paid media, onboard digital screens, posters, podcasts, internal communications, and external partner channels.

The Supplier shall provide a comprehensive cleaning service for Brodick Ferry Terminal, covering all internal areas and designated external elements, including internal and external window cleaning. Services shall be delivered to a consistently high standard to ensure that the terminal environment remains clean, safe, hygienic, and presentable for staff, passengers, visitors, and members of the public at all times.

Tenders are sought by CFL from experienced Suppliers for the provision of services relating to the collection and reprocessing of grease, fats and oil waste generated through the operation of grease trap machines onboard CFL’s 6 Major New vessels

CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) is seeking to award a Framework Agreement for the provision of Marine Accommodation Refurbishment services on the CFL fleet. The proposed Framework Agreement services will vary in size, value and complexity.
