Concrete & Polymer Reinforced Crib Walls - Design, Supply & Install We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced suppliers to undertake the design, manufacture, supply and installation of concrete and/or polymer reinforced crib wall retaining structures as part of the Lower Thames Crossing Roads North programme. The package comprises approximately 3.5km of crib wall retaining structures across multiple locations. Suppliers will support the development of practical, buildable and cost-effective solutions that integrate with the wider scheme design. Package Scope The package includes: Design and design checking of crib wall systems. Support to Approval in Principle (AiP) and design development. Internal stability assessments and coordination with project stakeholders. Manufacture and supply of crib wall components. BIM and/or 3D modelling where applicable. Temporary works design and management. Delivery and installation of crib wall systems. Coordination of drainage, foundation and geotechnical interfaces. Quality assurance, inspection, testing and handover documentation. What We're Looking For Suppliers should demonstrate experience in: Designing, manufacturing, supplying and/or installing crib wall retaining structures. Delivering highways, infrastructure, earthworks or civil engineering projects. Safe and efficient construction planning and delivery. Design management, quality assurance and stakeholder collaboration. Supporting projects with demanding programme requirements. SMEs are encouraged to express interest, either independently or as part of a wider supply chain. Experience & Standards We are seeking organisations with: Relevant crib wall or retaining structure experience. Appropriate engineering and design capability. Experience supporting design development and approvals processes. Strong health, safety, environmental and quality management systems. The ability to support Lower Thames Crossing objectives relating to sustainability, carbon reduction and social value. We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced suppliers to undertake Technology and Lighting Surveys as part of the Lower Thames Crossing Roads North programme. The surveys will provide comprehensive asset and condition information to support the development of the Roads North Temporary Diversions (RNoT) design, including the A13 and M25 temporary diversion routes Package Scope The package includes, but is not limited to: Undertaking lighting surveys on the M25, A13, A1089 and associated side roads in accordance with the Design Team's requirements. Undertaking technology surveys on the M25 in accordance with the Design Team's requirements. Carrying out lighting feeder pillar (FP) inspections and testing. Carrying out technology electrical infrastructure (EI) inspections and testing. Undertaking CCD condition surveys. Completing lighting circuit condition inspections and testing. Completing lighting column and luminaire condition inspections and testing. Producing comprehensive survey records, condition assessments and asset information to inform the subsequent design phase. Coordinating with the Contractor and Design Team to ensure survey outputs meet programme and design requirements. What We're Looking For Suppliers should be able to: Deliver high-quality highway lighting and technology surveys on operational road networks. Undertake electrical inspections, testing and condition assessments of highway lighting and technology assets. Demonstrate experience working safely on live highways, including motorways and strategic road networks. Provide robust quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and reliable asset data. Deliver survey outputs within challenging programme constraints. Work collaboratively with Tier 1 contractors, designers and key stakeholders. Experience & Standards We are looking for companies with: Proven experience delivering lighting and technology surveys on major highways or infrastructure projects. Experience undertaking feeder pillar inspections, circuit testing, column and luminaire inspections and technology asset surveys. Appropriately qualified and competent personnel for electrical inspection and testing activities. Strong health, safety, environmental and quality management systems. Experience working within National Highways and/or local authority environments. The ability to meet the Lower Thames Crossing requirements relating to sustainability, carbon reduction and social value. The Supplier is required to strip topsoil, including residual vegetation clearance and deposition in Topsoil Storage Areas. Topsoil stockpiles are to be managed by the Subcontractor for the duration of the subcontract works, including spraying and treatment necessary by the Subcontractor to maintain the integrity of the material for re-use. The supplier is required to undertake site clearance, to include but not limited to: Wall removal and set aside for reuse Fence removal and disposal Gate removal and disposal Kerb and drainage removal and disposal Sign post removal and disposal Allowance for removal / cutting of tree root systems and disposal Allowance for hard dig and disposal of arisings

1. Purpose of the Role The Work Examiner is responsible for inspecting, reviewing and recording the condition, quality and compliance of works within their allocated area. The role supports safe delivery, identifies defects or non-conformances, and provides clear information to supervisors, engineers and project teams to support timely decision-making. 2. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned examinations, inspections and site checks in line with the agreed work bank, programme and applicable standards. • Review completed or ongoing works to confirm they meet drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and client requirements. • Identify, record and communicate defects, safety concerns, incomplete works or areas requiring further investigation. • Produce accurate inspection records, reports, photographs and supporting evidence within agreed timescales. • Escalate urgent issues that may affect safety, quality, programme or asset integrity. • Liaise with site teams, supervisors, engineers, planners and subcontractors to coordinate access, clarify findings and support close-out of actions. • Maintain a safe system of work and comply with site rules, permits, risk assessments and relevant health, safety and environmental requirements.
